    Application

7 series aluminum alloy belongs to Al-Zn-Mg-Cu series superhard aluminum, which is an ultra-high strength deformed aluminum alloy that has been applied to the aircraft manufacturing industry in the late 1940s and is still widely used in the aviation industry. It is characterized by good plasticity after solid solution treatment, particularly good heat treatment strengthening effect, high strength below 150℃, and particularly good low temperature strength; Poor welding performance; Prone to stress corrosion cracking; Need to be coated with aluminum or other protective treatment. Two-stage aging can improve the resistance to stress corrosion cracking. The plasticity in the annealing and hardening state is slightly lower than the same state of 2A12, slightly better than 7A04, the static fatigue of the plate. Notch sensitive, stress corrosion performance is better than 7A04. Density is 2.85g/cm3.

7075 refers to a commonly used alloy in the 7 series aluminum alloy, the best strength of the more common aluminum alloy is 7075 alloy, widely used in CNC cutting parts, suitable for aircraft frames and high-strength accessories. 7 series aluminum alloys contain zinc and magnesium. Zinc is the main alloying element in this series, so the corrosion resistance is quite good, and a little magnesium alloy can make the material can reach a very high strength after heat treatment.

    Product Features
    • High strength heat treatable alloy
    • Good mechanical properties
    • Good usability
    • Easy to process, good wear resistance
    • T7351 state enhances corrosion fracture resistance
    • High-strength materials for high-pressure structural parts

7075 materials are generally added to a small amount of copper, chromium and other alloys, of which A7075-aluminum alloy is particularly high-quality, known as the best aluminum alloy products, high strength, far better than any soft steel. The alloy also has good mechanical properties and anode reaction.

    Main Uses

Aviation fixtures, trucks, tower buildings, ships, pipelines and other applications that require strong construction. Such as: aircraft parts, gears and shafts, fuse parts, instrument shafts and gears, missile parts jump valve parts, turbines, keys, aircraft, aerospace and defense applications.

    Polishing Guidelines
    1. Choose the right polishing method: There are a variety of polishing methods to choose from, including manual polishing, mechanical polishing and chemical polishing. Select the method that best suits the material and geometry of the part. Mechanical polishing, such as using a polishing wheel, polishing tape or grinding pad, is commonly used for CNC precision parts.
    2. Control polishing pressure: A consistent and controlled pressure polishing process is applied. Too much pressure can result in too much material removal or heat generation, while too little pressure may result in an uneven or incomplete surface. Keep hands steady or use appropriate polishing equipment to ensure consistent pressure is applied.
    3. Follow a systematic approach: Start with a coarser polish or abrasive pad and gradually transition to a finer polish or abrasive pad. This progressive approach helps to eliminate scratches or blemishes from the previous stage and obtain a smoother surface. Clean the parts thoroughly between each polishing stage to remove any residue.
    Frequently Asked Questions
What is the difference between finishing and polishing?

Finishing involves all operations performed on a substrate of any surface condition to improve its texture, brightness, color and corrosion resistance. Polishing, on the other hand, is a finishing operation performed on slightly scratched surfaces to improve the smoothness and brightness of the surface.

What is the difference between drawing and polishing?

Painting involves using a rotating brush or abrasive pad to create a texture or linear pattern, while polishing uses abrasive compounds and tools to achieve a smooth, glossy surface.
